10,000 Lakes Archaeology, Inc. took part in excavations at the Lincoln/Bey Farmstead in Bloomington, Minnesota. During these excavations, 10,000 Lakes Archaeology documented the farmstead structures, features and overall layout, and recovered thousands of artifacts. The structures and features documented include a house foundation, trash pits, privy, cistern, walkways and outbuildings. 10,000 Lakes Archaeology, Inc. analyzed the artifacts and farmstead features. This analysis gave archaeologists information that allowed us to learn about the former farmstead inhabitants and what life was like on a Minnesota farm during Minnesota's early history.
